was raised in Anne Arundel County and several scars on the left
wrist and one on the forehead
                            In Testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand and affixed
        (Seal)           the seal of my office this twenty ninth day of May in the year of
                            our Lord eighteen hundred and thirty two
                        Thomas T. Simmons Reg.r Wills A. A. County



    I Thomas T. Simmons Register of wills for Anne Arundel
County do hereby Certify and Attest that it appears from the last
will and Testament of Jeremiah T. Chase late of the County aforesaid,
deceased, that the Bearer hereof is the iden he did by his said will
manumit Liberate and set free a negro woman by the name of Tamar
and it being proved to my satisfaction that the Bearer hereof is the
identical person as freed by said will, I do Certify that she is in height
five feet one inch is about the age of forty one years, black complexion,
and was freed by the last will and Testament of the said Jeremiah
T. Chase dated the twenty Sixth day of December eighteen hundred
and twenty three and was raised in Anne Arundel County and has a
small scar near the right eye

    I Thomas T. Simmons Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County
do hereby Certify and Attest that it appears from the last will and
Testament of Joshua Merriken late of the County aforesaid, deceased,
that he did by his said will manumit Liberate and set free a negro
boy by the name of Vachel son of Jenny and it being proved to my
Satisfaction that the bearer hereof is the identical person as freed by
said will, I do Certify that he is in height five feet two & a ¼ inches is
about the age of thirty one years, dark Complexion, and was Freed by the
last will and Testament of the said Joshua Merriken dated the thirteenth
day of February Seventeen hundred and ninety Seven and was
raised in Anne Arundel County and has a scar on his right leg
Issued 29.th May 1832

    I Thomas T. Simmons Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County
do hereby Certify and Attest that it appears from the last will and
Testament of Jeremiah T. Chase late of the County aforesaid, deceased, that
he did by his said will manumit Liberate and set free a negro woman
by the name of Sarah Matthews and it being proved to my satisfaction
that the Bearer hereof is the identical person as freed by said will,
I do Certify that she is in height five feet three inches is about the
age of sixty years, light Complexion, and was freed by the last will and
Testament of the said Jeremiah T. Chase dated the twenty sixth day of
