    I Thomas T. Simmons Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County do hereby Certify and
Attest that it appears from the last Will and testament of Margaretta Jones late of the County aforesaid,
deceased, that she did by her said Will Manumit Liberate and set Free a negro man by the name
of Samuel Johnson and it being proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof is the Identical
person as freed by said Will, I do Certify that he is in height five feet ten & an ½ inches is
about the age of forty five years, dark Complexion, and was freed by the last Will and testament
of the said Margaretta Jones dated the fourteenth day of October Eighteen hundred and four and
was raised in Anne Arundel County and has a small scar on the left cheek and one on the right arm
                            In Testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand and affixed the Seal of my office
        (Seal)           this twenty fifth day of May in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and thirty two

that it appears from the last Will and Testament of Mary Atwell late of the County aforesaid, deceased,
that she did by her said Will Manumit Liberate and set Free a negro woman by the name of Julia
and it being proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof is the Identical person as freed
by said Will, I do Certify that she is in height five feet three inches is about the age of
thirty years, light Complexion, and was freed by the last Will and testament of the said Mary
Atwell dated the fourth day of January Eighteen hundred and Eleven and was raised in Anne Arundel
County
                            In Testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand and affixed the seal of my office
        (Seal)           this twenty fifth day of May in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and thirty two

she did by her said Will Manumit Liberate and set Free a negro woman by the name of Susan and
it being proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof is the Identical person as freed by said Will,
I do Certify that she is in height five feet four & ¾ inches is about the age of twenty five years,
light Complexion, and was freed by the last Will and testament of the said Mary Atwell Duvall dated
the fourth day of January Eighteen hundred and Eleven and was raised in Anne Arundel
County and has a small scar on the right thumb
                            In Testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand and affixed the seal of my
        (Seal)           office this twenty fifth day of May in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and thirty

appears from the last Will and testament of Mary Atwell Duvall late of the County aforesaid, deceased, that she did
by her said Will Manumit Liberate and set Free a negro woman by the name of Grace and it being proved
to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof is the Identical person as freed by said Will, I do Certify that she is
in height five feet four inches is about the age of twenty nine years, light Complexion, and was freed
by the last Will and testament of the said Mary Atwell dated the fourth day of January Eighteen hundred
and Eleven and was raised in Anne Arundel County and has a small scar on the right wrist
                            In Testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand and affixed the Seal of my office
        (Seal)           this twenty fifth day of May in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and thirty two

    I Thomas T. Simmons Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County do hereby Certify and Attest that it
appears from the last Will and Testament of Rezin Hammond of Philip that he late of the County aforesaid,
deceased, that he did by his said Will Manumit Liberate and set Free a negro woman by the name
of Bet and it being proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof is the Identical person as
freed by said Will, I do Certify that she is in height five feet two inches is about the age of
thirty five years, dark Complexion, and was freed by the last Will and testament of the said Rezin
Hammond of Philip dated the tenth day of July Eighteen hundred and Eight and was raised in Anne
Arundel County and has a scar on the left hand and one on the left eye brow
