    I Thomas T. Simmons Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County
do hereby Certify and Attest that it appears from the last Will and
Testament of David Meek late of the County aforesaid, deceased, that
he did by his said Will manumit Liberate and set Free a negro
man by the name of Solomon Survoy and it being proved to my
satisfaction that the bearer hereof is the identical person as Freed
by said will, I do Certify that she is in height five feet three & an ½
inches is about the age of thirty years, dark Complexion, and was
Freed by the last Will and Testament of the said David Meek
dated the Eighteenth day of December eighteen hundred and twenty
Six and was raised in Anne Arundel County and has a scar on
the forehead and one on the left cheek
                            In Testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand and
        (Seal)           affixed the Seal of my office this fourth day of May in
                            the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and thirty two

    I Thomas T. Simmons Receipt Register of Wills for Anne Arundel
County do ^hereby^ Certify and Attest that it appears from the last will
and Testament of David Meek late of the County aforesaid, deceased,
that he did by his said Will Manumit Liberate and set Free a
negro man by the name of Daniel Survoy and it being proved to my
satisfaction that the bearer hereof is the identical person as Freed
by said will, I do Certify that she is in height five feet seven & a ¼ inches
is about the age of twenty Eight years, dark Complexion, and was Freed
by the last will and Testament of the said David Meek dated the Eighteenth
day of December eighteen hundred and twenty Six and was raised
in Anne Arundel County and has a scar below the right eye and one
on the left side of his face near the lip
                            In Testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand and
        (Seal)           affixed the Seal of my office this fourth day of May in
                            the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and thirty two

of Zachariah Pumphrey late of the County aforesaid, deceased, that he did by
his said Will Manumit Liberate and set Free a negro Girl by the name of
Lucy the issue of Rachel and it being proved to my satisfaction that the bearer
hereof is the Identical person as freed by said Will, I do Certify that she is
in height five feet & ¾ inches is about the age of Twenty seven
years, dark Complexion, and was freed by the last Will and Testament of the said
Zachariah Pumphrey dated the tenth day of October Eighteen hundred and six and was
raised in Anne Arundel County and has a small scar on the forehead
