of dark complexion has a scar on the right side of
his face near the ear one scar above the eye one on
the upper lip one on the right corner of the mouth
and that he was manumitted by Nicholas Swannstedt
by deed bearing date the twenty second
of October eighteen hundred and ten and that he
was raised in the County aforesaid
Issued the 17.th of June 1845










Margaret Cooke
                            No 25

    State of Maryland
                  Anne Arundel County to wit

I, Joseph H. Nicholson Clerk of Anne
Arundel County Court do hereby certify
that it hath been proved to my satisfaction
that the bearer hereof named Margaret
Cooke aged about nineteen years about four
feet eleven inches high of dark complexion
has two slight scars on her forehead that she
was born free and that she was raised
in the County aforesaid
Issued the 25.th of June 1845










John Beans
                            No 26

    Maryland
                  Anne Arundel County to wit

I, Joseph H. Nicholson Clerk of Anne Arundel
County Court do hereby certify that it hath
been proved to my satisfaction that the
bearer hereof named John Beans aged about
twenty six years about five feet eight
inches high of light complexion has a slight
scar on the upper part of his nose between
the eyes was born free and that he was raised
in the County aforesaid
Issued the 7.th day of July 1845
