Arundel County Court do certify
that it has been proven to my satisfaction
that the Bearer hereof
named James Titus aged about thirty
three years about five feet five
inches in height of dark complexion
was born free and that he was raised
in the County aforesaid
Issued the 21.st day of March 1848








Sophia Denkins
                            No 237

I Joseph H Nicholson Clerk of Anne
Arundel County Court do certify
that it has been proved to my
satisfaction that the Bearer
hereof named Sophia Denkins
aged about twenty five years about
five feet five three inches in height of
brown complexion was born free
& that he was raised in the County
aforesaid
Issued the 28.th day of March 1848
