                          Anne Arundel County Sc

I Joseph H Nicholson Clerk of Anne Arundel
County Court do certify that it has been
proved to my satisfaction that the bearer
hereof named Lucy Gray aged about fifty
years about five feet six and a quarter
inches in height of dark Complexion is
one of the persons named in a deed of
manumission executed by Charles Waters
on the ninth day of June 1812 and she was
raised in the County aforesaid
    Issued the 18.th day of May 1846










Basil Johnson
                            No 100

State of Maryland
                       Anne Arundel County Sc

Arundel County Court do certify that
it has been proved to my satisfaction
that the bearer hereof named Basil
Johnson aged about forty nine years about
five feet seven and three quarter inches in
height of dark complexion is one of the persons
named in a deed of manumission executed by
Charles Waters on the ^ninth^ day of June 1812 and that
he was raised in the County aforesaid
