State of Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit

On this tenth day of September eighteen hundred and fifty one before me one
of the Justices of the peace in and for said county appears John Weedon and
acknowledges the foregoing writing to be his act and deed according to the true
intent and meaning thereof and the act of Assembly in such case made and provided
and at the same time personally appeared William S. Weedon the party
grantee to the aforegoing instrument of writing and makes oath that the consideration
mentioned is bona fide as therein set forth

Anne Arundel County to wit

Received this day one dollar for Stamp duty on this Instrument agreeably
to the act of Assembly of December session 1846 chap 61.
                      Given under my hand this 16th day of September A. D. 1851

Know all men by these presents that I William
N. Thomas of Anne Arundel County in the State of
Maryland for and in consideration of the sum
of two hundred dollars current money to me in
hand paid by John R. Hill of the same county and State as aforesaid
at and before the sealing and delivering of these presents the receipt whereof
I the said William N. Thomas do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained
and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said John
R. Hill his heirs and assigns all the property hereinafter particularly mentioned
that is to say my stock of groceries and dry goods on hand household
and Kitchen furniture one black horse blind in one eye, crop of Tobacco
on the ground and now delivered up to the said John R. Hill bonefid by
the said William N. Thomas all and singular which said property are
now in the possession of the said William N Thomas.   To have and to
hold all and singular the property above bargained and sold or mentioned
and intended so to be to the said John R. Hill his heirs and assigns forever and
I the said William N. Thomas for myself my heirs executors ^administrators^ all and singular
the said property unto the said John R. Hill his heirs and assigns
against me the said William N. Thomas my executors administrators
and against all and every other person or persons whatsoever shall and
will warrant and forever defend by these presents of all and singular
which said property I the said William N Thomas have put the said
John R. Hill in full possession by delivering to him the said John
R. Hill the whole of said property at the sealing and delivering of
these presents in the name of the whole property hereby bargained and
sold or mentioned or intended hereby so to be ^so^ unto him the said John R. Hill as
