in the said city Annapolis now in my occupancy as a Tailors shop, and
also all the house hold and kitchen furniture hereinafter particularly
mentioned now remaining and being in a certain tenement situate on East
street in said city of Annapolis now in my occupancy as private residence,
that is to say one dozen rush bottom chairs, two mahogany side tables one
mahogany Round card table, one mahogany peer table two Looking Glasses
two rug carpete four pine tables half dozen old mahogany chairs, half dozen
common chairs one common clock, two pair of brass andirons, two fire fenders
one pair of shovel and tongs, two ten plate stoves, one large clothes press one
dozen knives and forks, two beadsteads, two beds and bedding two iron
pots, one oven, one spider, one Frying pan, one Rocking chair, one old English
Carpet, one mahogany side board three large glass dishes, fourteen
glass tumblers, two decanters two pitchers and one glass sugar dish  to
have and to hold all and singular the said goods household stuff and
furniture and other the premises above bargained and sold or mentioned and
intended so to be to the said Washington G. Elliott his executors administrators
and assigns forever, and I the said James H. Searles for myself
my heirs executors and administrators all and singular the said goods
household stuff and furniture and other the premises unto the said Washington
G. Elliott his Executors administrators and assigns against me the
said James H. Searles my executors and administrators and against
all and every other person or persons whatsoever shall and will warrant
and forever defend by these presents, of all which said goods and chattels
household stuff and furniture, and other the premises I the said James
H. Searles, have put the said Washington G. Elliott in full possession by
delivering to him the said Washington G. Elliott One yard of fine silk
vesting at the sealing and delivering of these presents in the name
of the whole premises hereby bargained and sold or mentioned and
intended so to be unto him the said Washington G. Elliott as aforesaid
In Witness whereof I do hereunto subscribe my name and affix my
seal on this eleventh day of April in the year of our Lord One thousand
Eight hundred and forty Eight

me the Subscriber a Justice of the peace of the state of Maryland in and for
