said goods Crops Stock and furniture and other the premises I the said Wm Jones
of Ed have put the said John Clubb in full possession by delivering to the said
John Clubb one chair at the sealing and delivering of these presents in the name of
the whole premises hereby bargained and sold or mentioned or intended so to be
unto him the said John Clubb as aforesaid  In Witness whereof I have
hereunto signed my hand and affixed my seal this 20th day of July 1843

          At the foot of the aforegoing was thus written to wit

    State of M.d A A County to wit  On this 20 day of July 1843   Personally
appeared before me the subscribers a Justice of the peace for the State aforesaid
in and for the County aforesaid Wm Jones of Ed and acknowledged the foregoing
instrument of writing to be his act and deed according to the true intent and
meaning thereof and the Acts of Assembly in such cases made and provided

4      Recorded the 28 day of July 1843


       This Indenture made Between J L Hughes of Annapolis City of
the one part and The President Directors and Company of The Farmers Bank of
maryland of the other part  Whereas the said J L Hughes owes and stands justly
indebted to the said President Directors and Company of the Farmers Bank of
maryland in the sum of one hundred and forty five dollars & fourty four Cents
Current money and to secure the payment thereof is willing to Execute these presents
Now this Indenture Witnesseth that the said J L Hughes for and in
consideration of the premises and for and in consideration of the sum of five
dollars Current money to him in hand paid by the said President Directors
and Company of The Farmers Bank of maryland at or before the sealing and
delivery of these presents the receipt whereof the said J L Hughes doth hereby
and thereof and therefrom doth acquit release Exonerate and for ever discharge
the said President Directors and Company of Farmers Bank of maryland
by these presents hath granted bargained and sold and by these presents
doth grant bargain  and sell unto the said President Directors and Company of
The farmers Bank of maryland all & singular the goods furniture and household stuff
herein after particularly mentioned and expressed that is to say one lot ginger 2 hammers
1 wooden churn, 4 bl covers, 18 bottles, 2 window sashes, 3 ps old ware, 1 Garden hoe
(small) 1 piece green vesting, 13 yds striped Cotton Jeans, 6 doz Japanned buttons
