247 the Farmers Bank of maryland in him or in substitution of said note or by way of renewal and also to secure the payment of the said sum of two hundred and fifty dollars due and owing to the said James Iglehart hath agreed to Execute these presents Now this deed Witnesseth that the said James H Iglehart for and in consideration of the premises and for and in consideration of the premises and for and in consideration of the sum of one dollar Current money to him in hand paid by the said John Iglehart and James Iglehart or before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge hath granted bargained and sold and by these presents doth grant bargain and sell unto the and John Iglehart and James Iglehart their Executors administrators and assigns all and singular the goods chattels and personal property hereinafter particularly mentioned and expressed that is to say all my household furniture & plate to wit one mahogany sofa one marble top centre table one marble top mahogany prev table two mahogany bureaus one bedstead two beds two mattresses and bed furniture 1 doz cane bottom chairs one small table one Ingram Carpet and rug half dozen silver table spoons one dozen silver tea spoons and one Gray horse all which said goods chattels and personal proper are now in his possession To have and To hold all and singular the said goods chattels and personal property herein before granted bargained and sold or mentioned or intended so to be unto the said John Iglehart and James Iglehart their Executors administrators or assigns Provided always and these presents are upon this condition that if the said James H Iglehart his heirs Executors or administrators do and shall well and truly save harmless and indemnify the said John Iglehart and James Iglehart against all loss or damage which they or either of them may sustain suffer or incur by reason of their said endorsement or by reason of their endorsing my future note or Notes for the said James H Iglehart and which may be received by the said President Directors and Company of the Farmers Bank of Maryland in lieu or in substitution of said Note or by way of renewal and shall also pay and satisfy the said notes and all interest and discount which may arise or become due thereon and shall also pay and satisfy to the said James Iglehart his Executors administrators or assigns the said sum of two hundred and fifty dollars Current money with the Interest may be due thereon on or before the first day of January Eighteen hundred and fifty five then and in that case these presents and every matter and thing therein contained shall cease determine and be utterly void to all intents and purposes In Witness whereof the said James H Iglehart hath hereto set his hand and seal the day and year first herein before written J H Iglehart (seal) Signed Sealed and delivered in presence of The word endorsement being first interlined in first page before signing Wm Glover At |
