for the said sum So received by me from the said sale of real
estate by Securing to her the personal property upon the place
where I now reside and she has demanded a compliance with
the said agreement, And Whereas the said personal property was
in fact purchased as to almost the whole thereof by and with
the funds received from said sale of her real estate;
    Now therefore in Consideration of the premises and of the Sum
of one dollar Current Money to me in hand paid at the execution
of these presents by John R D Thomas Trustee as hereinafter
set forth, I do hereby bargain and sell to the said John
R D Thomas Trustee, All the furniture ^now^ in the house where I reside
on the place in Howard County near Ellicotts mills, called
Mt Hazlehurst being part of the Cally of Owen and all
the Stock farming implements and other personal property
of whatever nature on said place consisting mainly
of the following   Four beds three large Calves Two Mules
one horse Six hogs a market wagon a Stanhope and
Rockaway a carriage harness poultry various farming
implements and utensils &c &c.  To Have and hold the
Same in trust for the Sole and Separate use of my said
wife Mary A. Hazlehurst with full power in her to
dispose of the same in the whole or in part from
time to time as to her may seem proper as witness
my hand and seal this thirtieth day of October in
the year one thousand eight hundred and sixty

    I hereby Certify that on this thirtieth day of October
Eighteen hundred and Sixty before me the Subscriber a Justice
of the peace of the State of Maryland in and for Howard
County aforesaid personally appeared Francis M Hazlehurst
and acknowledged the aforesaid Bill of Sale to be his
act and at the same time appeared John R D Thomas the
grantee in said bill of sale mentioned and made oath according
to law that the consideration in Said Bill of Sale
'is true and bona fide as therein set forth
