313 foregoing Bill of Sale is true as therein Stated In testimony whereof I hereunto sign my name and (Seals) fix the seal of the County Court of said County the (place) day and year last above written Thos m Jack Judge of County Court Galveston County Texas State of Texas Galveston County to wit I Oscar Farish Clerk of the Galveston County Court of Texas do hereby certify that Thomas M. Jack Signing the above is Judge of the County County Court Galveston County of Texas a court of record that he hath power to administer an Oath and that full faith and credit should be given to all his acts as Judge of the said Court In Testimony Whereof I have affixed my Name and the seal of the said Court of Texas (Seals) on the 21st day of July Eighteen hundred and (place) fifty eight Oscar Farish clk Received to be recorded on the 24th day of August 1858 Same day recorded and examined per W W Watkins clk
to the said Columbus J Shipley my negro slave Caroline for the Term of eight years from the date hereof. The said negro being a slave for the Term of eight years from the date hereof and no longer and the said Amelia Harding being entitled to said Slave for the whole of said Term.
