bargain and sell to the said Christianna Fraghanna the following property crop of corn standing in the field crop of Potatoes in the ground growing a lot of Cabbages and Beans 1 clock 1 Table 1 Cubboard three Boxes six chairs 1 stove Two Beadsteads Beds and furniture fifty chickens three ploughs 1 cultivator Plough Gears one horse Witness my hand and seal this twenty Seventh day of August Eighteen hundred and fifty eight [illegible] (seal) State of Maryland Howard County to wit I hereby certify that on this twenty Seventh day of August Eighteen hundred and fifty eight personally appeared before the subscriber a Justice of the peace for Howard County aforesaid Henry Powell and acknowledged the aforegoing Bill of Sale to be his act and at the same time and place appeared Christianna Fraghanna the grantee in the Said Bill of Sale named and made oath that the consideration set forth in the said Bill of Sale is true and bona fide as therein set forth J. All that property Which is described and conveyed in a Bill of Sale from the said Gustavus Wheeler to the said William F King dated the eighth day of April Eighteen hundred and fifty four and recorded among the Chattel Records of Howard County maryland in Liber W H W No 3 folio 27 &c So far as may be necessary to Release the property from the Bill of sale thereby created Witness As Witness my hand and seal John G.
