(6) The bonds issued under the authority of this Act do not create or constitute
any indebtedness or obligation of the State or of any political subdivision thereof except
the University of Maryland System, and the bonds shall so state on their face. The bonds
do not constitute a debt or obligation contracted by the General Assembly or pledge the
faith and credit of the State within the meaning of Article III, Section 34 of the Maryland
Constitution.

Chapter 121 of the Acts of 1990

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall provide
for:

(1) The following academic facilities for the University of Maryland System
are hereby approved in the amounts specified:

(A)    University of Maryland College Park (Prince George's County):

(i) Design and Equip Phase I and construct AND PARTIALLY
EQUIP Phase II of Animal Sciences/Agricultural Engineering Building .... [$13,935,000]

(B)    University of Maryland Eastern Shore (Somerset County):

(i) Design, construct and equip Academic and Extension

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1992.
