SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section(s) 22-3 through 22-10, inclusive, of Article 33 - Election
Code of the Annotated Code of Maryland be repealed.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Laws of Maryland
read as follows:
Article 33 - Election Code
22-2.
The State of Maryland is divided into eight districts for the election of eight
Representatives to the House of Representatives of the Congress of the United States.
The districts are numbered respectively from one to eight, and each is entitled to elect
one Representative. All references in this subtitle to election districts, wards, and
precincts are to the geographical boundaries AS REVIEWED AND CERTIFIED BY
THE LOCAL BOARDS OF SUPERVISORS OF ELECTIONS PRIOR TO THEIR
SUBMISSION TO THE UNITED STATES BUREAU OF THE CENSUS AND as they
existed on [June 1, 1981] APRIL 1, 1990.

(A) THE FIRST CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT CONSISTS OF THE
FOLLOWING COUNTIES IN THEIR ENTIRETY:

WORCESTER COUNTY.
(B) THE DISTRICT ALSO INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING PARTS OF ANNE
ARUNDEL COUNTY:
(1) ELECTION DISTRICTS 5 AND 6 IN THEIR ENTIRETY;
(2) ELECTION DISTRICT 2, PRECINCTS 2, 13, AND 15;
(3) ELECTION DISTRICT 3, PRECINCTS 1 THROUGH 5 AND 10
THROUGH 18;
