(c)      [For] THE FEE FOR each temporary registration plate issued [the fee is
$10] SHALL BE ESTABLISHED BY THE ADMINISTRATION.

(d)     Temporary registration plates issued under this section may only be issued, in
the case of sales between persons who are not licensed dealers, and in the case of those
transfers set forth in § 23-106(b)(4) of this article.

13-502.1.

(a) The former registered owner of a transferred vehicle may have its plates and
registration number transferred to another vehicle in the same classification by applying
to the Administration and paying a transfer fee [of $1] ESTABLISHED BY THE
ADMINISTRATION.

13-506.

(a) (1) Notwithstanding any other provision to the contrary, if, as a result of a
total loss insurance settlement, a vehicle is transferred as salvage, the insurance company,
its authorized agent, or the vehicle owner shall send the certificate of title of the vehicle
to the Administration within 10 days from the date of the settlement.

(2)     On payment of a fee [of $2] ESTABLISHED BY THE
ADMINISTRATION, the Administration shall issue a salvage certificate in the name of
the insurance company or vehicle owner. On receipt of the salvage certificate, the
insurance company or vehicle owner promptly shall endorse an assignment of ownership
and give the certificate to the person who acquired the vehicle as salvage. The fee for
issuance of a duplicate salvage certificate [is $2] SHALL BE ESTABLISHED BY THE
ADMINISTRATION.

(3)     The records of the Administration shall be marked to indicate:

(i) That the vehicle was transferred as salvage; and

(ii) That the vehicle may not be titled or registered for operation in
this State except in accordance with subsection (b) of this section.

13-507.

(a)     If a licensed automotive dismantler and recycler acquires a salvage vehicle
through means other than a State licensed insurance company, the automotive dismantler
and recycler, on payment of a [$2] fee ESTABLISHED BY THE ADMINISTRATION,
may apply for a salvage certificate in its name for that vehicle.

(b)     The fee for issuance of a duplicate salvage certificate [is $2] SHALL BE
ESTABLISHED BY THE ADMINISTRATION.

(c)     The Administration shall keep records to indicate that the vehicle:

(1)     Was transferred as salvage; and

(2)     May not be titled or registered for operation in this State except in
accordance with § 13-506(b) of this subtitle.
