276 himself bound and by these presents doth contract promise and agree to teach the said apprentice the trade of a Farmer and to supply him with suitable clothing and maintenance during his apprenticeship: and where free to give him Twenty dollars and two suits of clothes as freedom dues. And the said John D. Parker doth further contract promise and agree to give the said apprentice in lieu of education the sum of twenty five dollars in addition to the freedom dues above required to be given.
