[(f)] (I) "State Historic Preservation Officer" means the individual who
administers the State Historic Preservation Program under the National Historic
Preservation Act of 1966,16 U.S.C. §§ 470-470mm.
[(g)] (J) "State unit" has the meaning stated in § 11-101 of the State
Government Article.
[(h)] (K) "Submerged" means beneath or substantially beneath water.
[(i)] (L) "Terrestrial" means relating to land above the mean high tide line
and above nontidal waters.
[(j)] (M) "Trust" means the Maryland Historical Trust.
[(k)] (N) "Undertaking" means a project that involves or may result in
building construction, building alteration, or land disturbance.

Occurred: Ch. 440, Acts of 2005. Ch. 440, Acts of 2005 transferred the
Maryland Historical Trust from the Department of Housing and Community
Development to the Department of Planning, but failed to transfer required
definitions.

Grant Program to acquire, restore, or rehabilitate a historic property is used only if
the historic property is listed in or is eligible to be listed in the Historic Register.
