the term "unfair or deceptive trade practice" for purposes of Title 13 (the "Maryland
Consumer Protection Act"). Occurred: Ch. 642, Acts of 1992. 14-2705. (a) A violation of this subtitle shall be an unfair [and] OR deceptive trade
practice under Title 13 of this article. DRAFTER'S NOTE: Error: Incorrect conjunction in § 14-2705(a) of the Commercial Law Article.
Correction is consistent with § 13-101 of the Commercial Law Article, which defines
the term "unfair or deceptive trade practice" for purposes of Title 13 (the "Maryland
Consumer Protection Act"). Occurred: Ch. 51, Acts of 1994. Article - Correctional Services 2-106. (c) (1) (ii) An employee specified in [item] SUBPARAGRAPH (i) of this
paragraph: 1. is in the executive service or management service of,
or is a special appointment under, the State Personnel Management System; and 2. serves at the pleasure of the Secretary.
DRAFTER'S NOTE: Error: Stylistic error in § 2-106(c)(1)(ii) of the Correctional Services Article.
Occurred: Ch. 54, Acts of 1999. Article - Courts and Judicial Proceedings 2-309. (o) (2) (v) After the probationary period, a full-time deputy sheriff at a
rank of lieutenant or below may be disciplined or dismissed only for just cause:
