Municipal Charters
EAST NEW MARKET (Dorchester County) Resolution No. 2006-1 A Resolution to repeal and reenact with amendments, Sections 8-18, 8-5, 8-34a. and b.,
of the Municipal Charter of East New Market, providing for the election of the Mayor by
the voting public instead of by the Council, and providing for a two (2) year term in
office for the Mayor. This Ordinance shall be effective and implemented for the next
regularly scheduled Town Election, with the current Mayor continuing to serve as Mayor
to the end of the current term of the Office; [Sections 8-5, 8-18, and 8-34 a. and b. of the Charter of the Town of East New
Market, Dorchester County, as found in the Public Local Laws of Maryland -
Compilation of Municipal Charters (1990 Replacement Edition and 2005 Supplement),
repealed and reenacted , with amendments. Effective Date January 3, 2007]
EASTON (Talbot County) Amended Resolution No. 5869 A RESOLUTION TO ANNEX CERTAIN LANDS OWNED BY THE RETIREMENT
COMMUNITY OF EASTON, INC. TO THE TOWN OF EASTON LOCATED ON
THE SOUTH SIDE OF PORT ROAD AND CONSISTING OF 10.513 ACRES OF
LAND, MORE OR LESS, AND TO PROVIDE FOR THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF THE ANNEXATION [Pursuant to Section 1 of the Charter of the Town of Easton, Talbot County, as
found in the Public Local Laws of Maryland - Compilation of Municipal Charters (1990
Replacement Edition and 2005 Supplement). Effective Date May 15, 2006]
