FOR the purpose of adopting standards for the maintenance of property; making certain
amendments to certain provisions of the Code concerning property maintenance;
allowing the Health Officer to modify certain provisions of the Property
Maintenance Code; defining certain terms; prohibiting certain accumulations of
refuse and trash; setting certain requirements for sewage disposal; allowing for
abatement of certain nuisances and health and safety hazards; allowing for
demolition of certain structures; providing for certain liens against property;
requiring certain notice; adopting certain provisions of the International Property
Maintenance Code; making certain stylistic corrections; making certain technical
corrections; deleting obsolete references; and generally relating to laws pertaining
to property maintenance.
BY repealing:
Article 15, §§ 15-1-105; 15-1-106; and 15-4-101 through 15-4-1101 and the title
"Title 4. Property Maintenance Code"

BY renumbering:
Article 15, §§ 15-1-107 and 15-1-108 to be §§ 15-1-105 and 15-1-106,
respectively

BY adding:
Article 15, §§ 15-4-101 through 15-4-104 to be under the new subtitle, "Subtitle 1.
Definitions; General Provisions"; § 15-4-201 to be under the new subtitle,
"Subtitle 2. Property Maintenance Code"; §§ 15-4-301 through 15-4-303 to
be under the new subtitle, "Refuse and Sewage Disposal Systems"; §§
15-4-401 through 15-4-403 to be under the new subtitle, "Subtitle 4.
Abatement and Demolition"; all to be under the new title, "Title 4. Property
Maintenance Code"; and §§ 15-5-105; and 15-5-106
