FOR THE PURPOSE of clarifying the definition of Lobbyist and Lobbying under
the Queen Anne's County Ethics Ordinance by deleting the definitions of "Executive
Action" and "Legislative Action" and applying the lobbying requirements to all persons
who seek to influence the performance of official duties by any County Employee. BY AMENDING Section 8-6 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Queen Anne's
County (1996 Ed.)
Ordinance No. 06-25 AN ACT CONCERNING the Removal of Members of Queen Anne's County
Ethics Commission. FOR THE PURPOSE of requiring that removal of a member of the Ethics
Commission shall require a showing of good cause after notice and an opportunity to be
heard. BY AMENDING Section 8-8 B. of the Code of Public Local Laws of Queen
Anne's County (1996 Ed.)
Ordinance No. 06-26 AN ACT CONCERNING the Appointment of Special Counsel to the Ethics
Commission of Queen Anne's County. FOR THE PURPOSE of providing for the appointment of special legal counsel to
the Queen Anne's County Ethics Commission under appropriate circumstances. BY AMENDING Section 8-9 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Queen Anne's
County (1996 Ed.)
