H.B. 879 2007 Vetoed Bills and Messages
(2) REIMBURSEMENT FOR LOST WAGES; (3) WORK BENEFITS LOST AS A RESULT OF THE UNLAWFUL ACTS
OF THE EMPLOYING LABORATORY; AND (4) REASONABLE ATTORNEY'S FEES AND COSTS ASSOCIATED
WITH PURSUING THE JUDICIAL ACTION. (E) (G) NO JUDICIAL ACTION MAY BE BROUGHT UNDER THIS SUBSECTION
(D) OF THIS SECTION MORE THAN 2 YEARS AFTER THE DISCRIMINATION OR
RETALIATION THAT IS THE BASIS FOR THE ACTION. 17-2A-14. 17-2A-11. (A) A PERSON THAT VIOLATES ANY PROVISION OF THIS SUBTITLE IS
GUILTY OF A MISDEMEANOR AND ON CONVICTION IS SUBJECT TO: (1) A FINE NOT EXCEEDING $100 FOR THE FIRST OFFENSE; AND (2) A FINE NOT EXCEEDING $500 FOR EACH SUBSEQUENT
CONVICTION FOR A VIOLATION OF THE SAME PROVISION. (B) EACH DAY A VIOLATION IS CONTINUED AFTER THE FIRST
CONVICTION IS A SUBSEQUENT OFFENSE ON WHICH A VIOLATION OCCURS IS A
SEPARATE VIOLATION UNDER THIS SECTION. 17-2A-15. 17-2A-12. (A) THE SECRETARY GOVERNOR SHALL ESTABLISH A FORENSIC
LABORATORY ADVISORY COMMITTEE TO ADVISE THE SECRETARY ON MATTERS
RELATING TO THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SUBTITLE. (B) THE ADVISORY COMMITTEE SHALL CONSIST OF ONE REPRESENTATIVE OR DESIGNEE OF: (1) THE AMERICAN SOCIETY FOR CLINICAL LABORATORY SCIENCE;                (2) THE UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND SCHOOL OF MEDICINE DEPARTMENT OF MEDICAL RESEARCH AND TECHNOLOGY;            (3) THE JOHN JAY CENTER FOR MODERN FORENSIC PRACTICE;
