The Honorable Michael E. Busch
Speaker of the House
State House
Annapolis, MD 21401
Dear Mr. Speaker:
In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the Maryland Constitution, today I have
vetoed House Bill 791 - Queen Anne's County - State's Attorney - Salary.
This bill alters the salary of the State's Attorney for Queen Anne's County and
authorizes the State's Attorney to appoint one or more deputy State's Attorneys. The
bill specifies duties of the States Attorney, a deputy State's Attorney, and an assistant
State's Attorney and establishes that the State's Attorney is entitled to expenses for
business related purposes.
