MOTOR FUEL RETAIL SERVICE STATIONS AT MARINAS IN DORCHESTER AND
TALBOT COUNTIES.
(II) UNDER THE PILOT PROGRAM, THE OPERATION OF
UNATTENDED MARINE VESSEL MOTOR FUEL RETAIL SERVICE STATIONS AT
MARINAS SHALL BE CONSISTENT WITH PROVISIONS OF LAW OR REGULATIONS
GOVERNING THE CONTINUOUS OPERATION OF AN UNATTENDED MOTOR
VEHICLE RETAIL SERVICE STATION.
(III) THE PILOT PROGRAM SHALL BE DEVELOPED IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE CLEAN MARINA INITIATIVE OF THE DEPARTMENT OF
NATURAL RESOURCES.
(IV) THE COMMISSION MAY ADOPT ANY REGULATIONS
NECESSARY TO IMPLEMENT THE PILOT PROGRAM UNDER THIS PARAGRAPH.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That it is the intent of the
General Assembly that the State Fire Commission ensure that the pilot program
required by Section 1 of this Act is fully operational as soon as reasonably practicable
after the effective date of this Act.
SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Commission shall
report to the General Assembly on or before June 1, 2008, in accordance with § 2-1246
of the State Government Article, on the results of the pilot program required under
Section 1 of this Act.
SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 2007.
