ISSUANCE OF FORMAL CHARGES BY THE BOARD SHALL BE OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC.
(B) THE BOARD OR A HEARING OFFICER MAY CONDUCT A PROCEEDING
IN CLOSED SESSION ON REQUEST BY THE LICENSEE OR THE COMPLAINANT, FOR
GOOD CAUSE SHOWN.
(C) THE BOARD SHALL ADOPT REGULATIONS THAT SPECIFY WHEN A
PROCEEDING MAY BE CLOSED FOR GOOD CAUSE.

(b) (1) Each court shall report to the Board each conviction of or entry of a
plea of guilty or nole contendere by a physician for any crime involving moral
turpitude.
(2) The court shall submit the report within 10 days of the conviction
or entry of the plea.
(3) THE ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE OF THE COURTS AND THE
CHIEF JUDGE OF THE DISTRICT COURT, IN COLLABORATION WITH THE BOARD,
SHALL DEVELOP A PROCEDURE FOR REPORTING AS REQUIRED IN PARAGRAPH
(1) OF THIS SUBSECTION.

(a) In this section, "the Maryland Institute for Emergency Medical Services
Systems" means the State agency described in § 13-503 of the Education Article.
