assist in the design, renovation, construction, and equipping of
a facility in Baltimore City for use as a National Center for
Advanced Research in Developmental Disabilities, subject to
the requirement that the grantee provide an equal and
matching fund for this purpose. Notwithstanding the provisions
of Section 1(5) of this Act, the matching fund may consist of
funds expended prior to the effective date of this Act (Baltimore

(H) Maryland Independent College and University Association -
Johns Hopkins University - Renovation of Gilman Hall. Provide
a grant equal to the lesser of (i) $2,000,000 or (ii) the amount of
the matching fund provided, to the Board of Trustees of the
Johns Hopkins University to assist in the renovation of Gilman
Hall on the Johns Hopkins Homewood campus, subject to the
requirement that the grantee provide an equal and matching
fund for this purpose. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section
1(5) of this Act, the matching fund may consist of funds
expended prior to the effective date of this Act

(I) Maryland Independent College and University Association -
Maryland Institute College of Art - The Gateway Facility.
Provide a grant equal to the lesser of (i) $3,000,000 or (ii) the
amount of the matching fund provided, to the Board of Trustees
of the Maryland Institute College of Art to assist in the design
and construction of academic and administrative space
associated with the new Gateway Facility, subject to the
requirement that the grantee provide an equal and matching
fund for this purpose. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section
1(5) of this Act, the matching fund may consist of funds
expended prior to the effective date of this Act

(J) Maryland Independent College and University Association -
Mount St. Mary's University - Performing Arts Academic
Center. Provide a grant equal to the lesser of (i) $2,000,000 or
(ii) the amount of the matching fund provided, to the Board of
Trustees of Mount St. Mary's University to assist in the design
and construction of an addition to Flynn Hall, subject to the
requirement that the grantee provide an equal and matching
fund for this purpose. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section
1(5) of this Act, the matching fund may consist of funds
expended prior to the effective date of this Act (Frederick
