professional development schools.
Further provided that $1,000,000 of this
appropriation to support professional
development schools (PDS) may not be
expended until a report is submitted to the
budget committees of the General
Assembly that provides a plan for
distributing the funds to professional
development schools and includes the
following information for each higher
education institution proposed to receive
professional development school
funds: actual fiscal 2007 revenue by
revenue source for PDS activities, for
academic year 2006-2007; total operating
budget for PDS; number of PDS sites;
number of teacher interns: other affiliated
higher education institutions; and funding
from local school systems by each local
system for PDS activities. The budget
committees shall have 45 days to review
and comment on the report.........................
