R30B23.00 Bowie State University
Current Unrestricted Appropriation,
provided that $1,500,000 of this
appropriation, for the purpose of
improving student retention and
graduation rates, may not be expended
until Bowie State University in
conjunction with the University System of
Maryland Office has prepared and
submitted a performance report to the
budget committees. For each cohort
enrolled beginning fall 2000 through 2006
the report shall include:
(1) the average number of credit hours
completed each year;
(2) the average grade point average for
each year; and
(3) the percentage of students who dropped
out each year who were receiving
financial aid from any source (federal,
State, institutional) and the average
award amount received by those
students.
The report shall be submitted by August 1,
2007, and the budget committees shall
have 45 days to review and comment on
