Provided that all appropriations provided
for program N00G00.03 Child Welfare
Services are to he used only for the
purposes herein appropriated, and there
shall he no budgetary transfer to any
other program or purpose except that
funds may be transferred to program
N00G00.01 Foster Care Maintenance
Payments.
General Fund Appropriation, provided that
$1,000,000 of this appropriation may not
he expended unless the Department of
Human Resources has filled on December
1, 2007, at least 2,021 child welfare
caseworker and supervisor positions.
Further provided that $1,000,000 of this
appropriation may not be expended unless
the Department of Human Resources has
filled on March 1, 2008, at least 2,021
child welfare caseworker and supervisor
positions.
Further provided that it is the intent of the
General Assembly that the Department of
Human Resources focus specifically on
increasing the number of filled child
welfare caseworker and Supervisor
positions in those jurisdictions that do not
meet the state-to-caseload ratios
