All appropriations provided for program
M00Q01.03 are to he used only for the
purposes herein appropriated, and there
shall be no budgetary transfer to any
other program or purpose.
It is the intent of the General Assembly that
the Department of Health and Mental
Hygiene increase the dispensing fees paid
to pharmacies for generic drugs to
mitigate the impact of federally mandated
reductions in the reimbursement for the
ingredient cost of some generic drugs.
Funds are appropriated in other agency
budgets to pay for services provided by
this program. Authorization is hereby
granted to use these receipts as special
funds for operating expenses in this
program.
