CHAPTER 459
(House Bill 1215)
AN ACT concerning
Community Right-to-Know Fund - Reports
FOR the purpose of altering the deadlines for paying certain fees associated with
submitting certain reports to the Department of the Environment required
under federal law; and generally relating to the Community Right-to-Know
Fund.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article - Environment
7-604.
(d) Except as provided in subsection (f) of this section, beginning March 1,
2003 and each year thereafter:
(1) The annual fee shall be paid to the Department no later than
[March] JUNE 1 of each year for reports required under § 312 of the federal Act; and
(2) The annual fee shall be paid to the Department no later than
[July] OCTOBER 1 of each year for reports required under § 313 of the federal Act.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 2007.
