purchase obligations, the manner of accomplishing the acquisition of easements, which
may be by the direct exchange of installment purchase obligations for easements or
transferable development rights, and all matters incident to the execution and
delivery of the installment purchase obligations and acquisition of the easements or
transferable development rights by the County shall be determined in the resolution.
Except where the provisions of this Act would be inapplicable to installment purchase
obligations, the term "bonds" used in this Act shall include installment purchase
obligations and matters pertaining to the bonds under this Act, such as the security
for the payment of the bonds, the exemption of the bonds from State, county,
municipal, or other taxation, and authorization to issue refunding bonds and the
limitation on the aggregate principal amount of bonds authorized for issuance, shall be
applicable to installment purchase obligations. SECTION 11. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Washington County
Commissioners shall present a plan to implement a County land preservation and
landowner equity program to the members of the General Assembly representing
Washington County on or before January 1, 2008. The plan shall establish annual
goals for financial support and acres of land preserved. SECTION 12. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 2007. Approved by the Governor, May 8, 2007.
CHAPTER 393 (House Bill 356) AN ACT concerning Washington County - Alcoholic Beverages Licenses - Administrative Proceedings FOR the purpose of adding Washington County to the list of counties in which the
granting of probation before judgment to an alcoholic beverages licensee for
selling or furnishing alcoholic beverages to an underage individual does not bar
the board of license commissioners from proceeding administratively against
the licensee for the violation; and generally relating to alcoholic beverages
licensees in Washington County.
