(1) Is authorized to practice speech-language pathology in this State;
or
(2) Evaluates, examines, instructs, or counsels individuals suffering
from disorders or conditions that affect speech [and], language, COMMUNICATION,
AND SWALLOWING.
(b) Unless authorized to practice speech-language pathology under this title
OR UNLESS OTHERWISE PROVIDED FOR UNDER THIS ARTICLE, a person may not
use any word or term connoting professional proficiency in speech-language
pathology, including but not limited to:
(1) "Communication disorders";
(2) "Communicologist";
(3) "DYSPHAGIST";
[(3)] (4) "Language pathologist";
[(4)] (5) "Logopedist";
[(5)] (6) "Speech and language clinician";
[(6)] (7) "Speech and language therapist";
[(7)] (8) "Speech clinic";
[(8)] (9) "Speech clinician";
[(9)] (10) "Speech correction";
[(10)] (11) "Speech correctionist";
[(11)] (12) "Speech pathology";
[(12)] (13) "Speech-language pathology";
[(13)] (14) "Speech therapist"; [or]
[(14)1(15) "Speech therapy"; or

(16) "SWALLOWING THERAPIST".
