Ch. 353 2007 Laws of Maryland
requiring certain entities to be authorized distributors of record for a certain
purpose; establishing certain penalties for a certain violation of certain
provisions of this Act; requiring the Board to adopt certain regulations on or
before a certain date; requiring the Board to provide a certain report to the
Governor and certain legislative committees on or before a certain date each
year; repealing certain provisions of law relating to permits for the distribution
of prescription drugs or devices; requiring the Secretary of Health and Mental
Hygiene, in conjunction with the Board, to convene a certain workgroup to
recommend to the Board a certain date for implementing electronic track and
trace pedigree technology; requiring the Board to establish a certain date for
implementation of electronic track and trace pedigree technology; requiring the
Board to submit certain reports to certain legislative committees on or before
certain dates; defining certain terms: making conforming changes; and
generally relating to permit and pedigree requirements for wholesale drug
distributors. BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Wholesale Distributor Permitting and Prescription Drug Integrity Act"
Annotated Code of Maryland (2005 Replacement Volume and 2006 Supplement) SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows: Article - Health Occupations 12-601. (a) Subject to the hearing provisions of § 12-315 of this title, for a violation of
this subtitle, SUBTITLE 6C OF THIS TITLE, or any regulation adopted under [§
12-602 of this subtitle] SUBTITLE 6C OF THIS TITLE, the Board may:
