the Department to adopt regulations and policies. Defined terms: "Department" § 6-101
"Program" § 6-701 6-707. COOPERATION OF STATE UNITS. ALL EXECUTIVE UNITS OF THE STATE SHALL COOPERATE WITH THE
DEPARTMENT TO IMPLEMENT THE REGULATIONS AND POLICIES OF THE PROGRAM. REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived without substantive
change from former Art. 88A, § 145(c). In this section, the reference to "units" is substituted for the former
reference to "departments and agencies" to conform to the terminology
used throughout this article. See General Revisor's Note to article. Defined terms: "Department" § 6-101
"Program" § 6-701 6-708. ANNUAL REPORT. EACH YEAR THE DEPARTMENT SHALL SUBMIT A REPORT TO THE GOVERNOR
AND, SUBJECT TO § 2-1246 OF THE STATE GOVERNMENT ARTICLE, TO THE GENERAL
ASSEMBLY REGARDING THE STATUS AND EFFECTIVENESS OF THE PROGRAM. REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived without substantive
change from former Art. 88A, § 145(g). The former phrase "established under this subtitle" is deleted as
surplusage. Defined terms: "Department" § 6-101
