(G) THE TASK FORCE SHALL:
(1) OVERSEE A FULL REVIEW OF CURRENT FISHERY
MANAGEMENT PROCESSES AND DEVELOP RECOMMENDATIONS FOR METHODS
TO IMPROVE, MODERNIZE, AND STREAMLINE FISHERY MANAGEMENT,
INCLUDING:
(I) DEVELOPING A SET OF RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE
2009 LEGISLATIVE SESSION OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY THAT INCORPORATES
THE IMPROVEMENTS SUGGESTED FOR FISHERY MANAGEMENT; AND
(II) WORKING WITH THE DEPARTMENT TO DEVELOP
REGULATIONS AND POLICY, AND ANY FOLLOW-UP LEGISLATION FOR THE 2010
LEGISLATIVE SESSION OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY THAT IS NECESSARY TO
IMPLEMENT THE RECOMMENDATIONS; AND
(2) ON OR BEFORE DECEMBER 1, 2008, SUBMIT A REPORT OF ITS
FINDINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS TO THE GOVERNOR AND, IN ACCORDANCE
WITH § 2-1246 OF THE STATE GOVERNMENT ARTICLE, THE GENERAL
ASSEMBLY.

(g) (1) The following annual license fees shall apply:
(i) Resident..........................................................[$10.50] $20.50
(2) For a nonresident:
(i) The fee for an annual angler's license is the greater of:
1. [$20.50] $30.50; or
2. A fee equal to the fee charged a Maryland resident by
the nonresident's home state for a similar license; and
