SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED. That Section 2 of this Act
shall take effect October 1, 2007. It shall remain effective until the taking effect of the
termination provision specified in Section 3 of Chapter 251 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of 2000, as amended by Chapter 398 of the Acts of 2003 and this Act. If that
termination provision takes effect, Section 2 of this Act shall be abrogated and of no
further force and effect. Section 2 of this Act may not be interpreted to have any effect on
that termination provision.
SECTION £ AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That, subject to Section 4 of
this Act, this Act shall take effect October 1, 2007.

AN ACT concerning
Natural Resources - Open Air Burning Limitations - Application
FOR the purpose of establishing that the prohibition against open air burning at
certain times and places does not apply to a burning conducted under the direct
control and supervision of certain fire personnel; making a technical correction;
making certain stylistic changes; altering a certain definition; and generally
relating to the application of a ban on open air burning.
