SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Criminal Procedure

6-214.

THE COMMISSION SHALL INCLUDE AN ENTRY LOCATIONS LOCATION ON A
SENTENCING GUIDELINES WORKSHEET FOR A COURT, IN REPORTING ON CRIMES
INVOLVING THEFT AND RELATED CRIMES UNDER TITLE 7 OF THE CRIMINAL LAW
ARTICLE OR FRAUD AND RELATED CRIMES UNDER TITLE 8 OF THE CRIMINAL LAW
ARTICLE, TO:

(1) REPORT:

(I) THE SPECIFIC DOLLAR AMOUNT, WHEN AVAILABLE, OF THE
ECONOMIC LOSS TO THE VICTIM;

(II) IF THE VICTIM IS AN INDIVIDUAL, THE AGE OF THE VICTIM;

(III) THE RELATIONSHIP OF THE DEFENDANT TO THE VICTIM;

(IV) IF THE VICTIM IS A FINANCIAL INSTITUTION, WHETHER THE
OFFENSE JEOPARDIZED THE SOUNDNESS OR SAFETY OF THE FINANCIAL
IN
STITUTION;

(V) IF THE VICTIM IS AN INDIVIDUAL OR FAMILY, WHETHER THE
OFFENSE JEOPARDIZED THE VICTIM'S FINANCIAL SECURITY; AND

(VI) WHETHER THE OFFENSE INVOLVED AN ORGANIZED SCHEME;
AND

(2) INCLUDE WITH THE WORKSHEET A COPY OF THE VICTIM IMPACT
STATEMENT WITH THE VICTIM'S NAME REDACTED.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect October 1, 2004.
