AN ACT concerning
Prince George's County - Class A (Off-Sale) Alcoholic Beverages Licensees -
Minimum Container Size for Beer Open Containers

FOR the purpose of establishing that a Class A (off-sale) alcoholic beverages licensee
making it a misdemeanor for a person in Prince George's County may not sell
beer by the container in a to possess an open container of an alcoholic beverage
under a certain size; and generally relating to the sale of beer by a Class A
licensee in Prince George's County circumstances; establishing a penalty;
making certain technical changes; and generally relating to open containers of
alcoholic beverages in Prince George's County.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages
3-101.
(r) (1) In Prince George's County the annual license fee is $220.
(2) A CLASS A BEER LICENSEE MAY NOT SELL BEER BY THE CONTAINER
IN A CONTAINER THAT IS UNDER 70 OUNCES IN SIZE.
