(ii) 1. The Board may set a charge for the transfer of a license
under this paragraph, which may not exceed the administration cost for processing
the transfer.

2.       If a license is transferred under this paragraph before its
expiration date, the Board shall permit the transferee to operate under the license
until the license expiration date without additional charge except for the charge
provided for under item 1 of this subparagraph.

3.       If a license is transferred under this paragraph on its
expiration date, the charge for the transfer is the same as the fee for the issuance of
the license.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 2004.

AN ACT concerning

Education - School Vehicles - Length of Operation

FOR the purpose of revising the types of school vehicles that may be operated for a
certain length of time under certain circumstances; defining a term; providing
for the effective date of certain provisions of this Act; providing that school
vehicles operating under a certain exception must be maintained under a
certain preventive maintenance plan; providing for the termination of certain
provisions of this Act; and generally relating to the operation of school vehicles.
