Ch. 165                                    2004 LAWS OF MARYLAND

THE SENATE BUDGET AND TAXATION COMMITTEE, SENATE FINANCE COMMITTEE,
HOUSE APPROPRIATIONS COMMITTEE, AND HOUSE WAYS AND MEANS COMMITTEE
INFORMATION ON THE PROPOSED TOLL CHARGES, INCLUDING:

(I)      THE ANNUAL REVENUES GENERATED BY THE TOLL CHARGES;

(II)     THE PROPOSED USE OF THE REVENUES; AND

(III)   THE PROPOSED COMMUTER DISCOUNT RATES.

(5) NOTWITHSTANDING ANY OTHER PROVISION OF LAW, THE
AUTHORITY MAY NOT ESTABLI
SH AND FIX TOLLS ON ANY PART OF A NEW
TRAN
SPORTATION FACILITIES PROJECT WITHOUT THE APPROVAL OF THE BOARD OF
PUBLIC WORKS.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 2004.

AN ACT concerning

Criminal Law - Motion Picture Theaters - Prohibition against Audiovisual

Recording

FOR the purpose of prohibiting a person from knowingly operating an audiovisual
recording function of a device in a motion picture theater without the consent of
certain persons under certain circumstances; providing immunity from civil
liability to a certain owner, lessee, agent, or employee who detains or causes the
arrest of a certain person under certain circumstances; making the provisions of
this Act severable; and generally relating to audiovisual recording in motion
picture theaters.
