the Chapter for descriptive purposes and to reclassify violations as civil in nature and
to establish penalties and enforcement provisions.

AN ACT to amend Chapter 225 of the Wicomico County Code, titled "Zoning,"
Article XIV, titled "Special Districts," to add Section 225-75, titled "Neighborhood
Preservation District," to establish an overlay district for the protection and
preservation of single family residences by the reduction of the number of unrelated
individuals comprising a family and the restriction of other uses, and to amend the
map entitled "Wicomico County Zoning Map" referred to in Article XV, titled "Zoning
Map," Section 225-76, titled "Adoption of map," to delineate the overlay district.
