(D) IN EACH COUNTY, THE HEALTH OFFICER SHALL INSPECT EACH BED AND
BREAKFAST ESTABLISHMENT THAT INTENDS TO SERVE HOT MEALS TO RENTERS
FOR COMPLIANCE WITH FOOD SAFETY AND CONTAMINATION REGULATIONS IN
ACCORDANCE WITH § 21-313 OF THIS SUBTITLE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 2004.

Dear Mr. Speaker:

In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the Maryland Constitution, I have today
vetoed House Bill 1511 — Baltimore County - Arbutus Community Center Loan of
2000.

This bill changes the name of the project, the purpose, and alters the date by which
the County Executive and County Council of Baltimore County are required to
provide a matching fund, from June 1, 2004, to June 1, 2006, pursuant to Chapter 317
of the Acts of the General Assembly of 2000, as amended by Chapter 168 of the Acts of
the General Assembly of 2002, Baltimore County - Arbutus Community Center Loan
of 2000.

Senate Bill 910, which was passed by the General Assembly and signed by me on May
11, 2004, accomplishes the same purpose. Therefore, it is not necessary for me to sign
House Bill 1511.
