AN ACT concerning

Baltimore City - Pimlico Road Arts and Community Center Loan of 2001

FOR the purpose of altering the location of the project funded in Chapter 411 of the
Acts of the General Assembly of 2001, Baltimore City - Pimlico Road Arts and
Community Center Loan of 2001.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Chapter 411 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 2001
Section 1(3)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That:

(3) The cash proceeds of the sale of the bonds shall be paid to the Treasurer
and first shall be applied to the payment of the expenses of issuing, selling, and
delivering the bonds, unless funds for this purpose are otherwise provided, and then
shall be credited on the books of the Comptroller and expended, on approval by the
Board of Public Works, for the following public purposes, including any applicable
architects' and engineers' fees: as a grant to the Board of Directors of Holy Nativity
and St. John's Development Corporation (referred to hereafter in this Act as "the
grantee") for the acquisition of [the] property [located at 4403 Pimlico Road in
Baltimore] and for the design and construction of a facility to provide community
activities, programs, and functions IN THE PIMLICO ROAD AREA IN BALTIMORE CITY.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 2004.
