Chapter 317 of the Acts of 2001
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 2001. [It shall remain effective for a period of 3 years and, at the end of
September 30, 2004, with no further action required by the General Assembly, this
Act shall be abrogated and of no further force and effect. On or before January 1,
2004, an evaluation of this Act recommending reestablishment or termination of this
Act shall be prepared by the State Acupuncture Board in consultation with the
Maryland Acupuncture Society and other affected parties, and shall be submitted to
the Governor, and in accordance with § 2-1246 of the State Government Article, to the
General Assembly.]
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 2004.

AN ACT concerning
Garrett County - Alcoholic Beverages - Underage Employees
FOR the purpose of clarifying that the restriction on alcoholic beverages licensees in
Garrett County on employing underage persons applies only to the handling of
alcoholic beverages; repealing a general prohibition against licensees employing
underage persons; and generally relating to alcoholic beverages employees in
Garrett County.
