3.       Behavioral science;

4.       Physics with a laboratory;

5.       Chemistry with a laboratory;

6.       Biology with a laboratory; and

7.       Mathematics;

(ii) 60 credit hours in a professional physical therapy program to
include at least one course in:

1.       Human anatomy;

2.       Human physiology;

3.       Neurology;

4.       Physiology;

5.       Functional anatomy;

6.       Kinesiology;

7.       Orthopedics;

8.       Pediatrics;

9.       Geriatrics;

10.     Physical agents;

11.     Musculoskeletal assessment and treatment;

12.     Neuromuscular assessment and treatment; and

13.     Cardiopulmonary assessment and treatment; and

(iii) 10 credit hours as electives in general or professional education;

(3)     Completed at least two clinical affiliations totaling at least 800
hours; and

(4)     Completed a preceptorship that fulfills the requirements set by the
Board].

(c) If an applicant is currently licensed in any other state, the Board may
waive the preceptorship requirement.

13-310.

(a) Subject to subsection (b) of this section, a physical therapist assistant
license authorizes the licensee to practice limited physical therapy while the license is
effective.
