(v) Ward 21, that part of precinct 1 that lies south and west of aline
that runs along the center of Harbor City Boulevard from Eutaw Street to Pratt
Street.

(2)     Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, a Class B
beer, wine and liquor license may not be transferred or downgraded within the 47th
alcoholic beverages district of Baltimore City, as described in paragraph (1) of this
subsection.

(3)     Except as provided in subsection (a) of this section, a Class B beer,
wine and liquor license may be issued in the 47th alcoholic beverages district.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 2004.

AN ACT concerning

Teachers' Pension System - Former Members - Military Service Credit

FOR the purpose of allowing certain former members to receive service credit in the
Teachers' Pension System for military service; requiring certain former
members to complete certain claims and submit certain forms to the Board of
Trustees by a certain date; and generally relating to military service credit for
former members of the Teachers' Pension System.

BY repealing and reenacting, without amendments,
Article - State Personnel and Pensions
Section 38-104
Annotated Code of Maryland
(1997 Replacement Volume and 2003 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - State Personnel and Pensions

38-104.

(a) Except as provided in subsection (b) of this section, a member of a State
system, who has not met the conditions set forth in § 38-103(a)(2) through (4) of this
subtitle, is entitled to receive service credit for military service only on the attainment
of 10 years of creditable service.
