license. On expiration of the individual's license, the individual may qualify for
renewal of a license under § 5-308 of the Health Occupations Article as if the
individual had been licensed as a dietitian-nutritionist by the State Board of Dietetic
Practice.

SECTION 5. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That if an individual licensed
as a dietitian or nutritionist by the State Board of Dietetic Practice on June 30, 2004
fails to timely renew the license, the individual may qualify for reinstatement of the
license under § 5-309 of the Health Occupations Article as if the individual had been
licensed as a dietitian-nutritionist by the State Board of Dietetic Practice.

SECTION 6. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 2004.

(Senate Bill 111)

AN ACT concerning

State Government - Open Meetings Act - Public Body

FOR the purpose of altering the definition of a public body to include, for certain
purposes, certain boards, commissions, and committees; exempting certain
subcommittees from the definition of a public body; requiring a public body to
include a copy of a certain notice, a certain written statement, and certain
minutes or tape recordings with a certain written response to the Open
Meetings Compliance Board under certain circumstances; requiring the Board
to maintain the confidentiality of certain minutes and tape recordings; requiring
a public body to keep a copy of a certain notice, a certain written statement, and
certain minutes and tape recordings for a certain period of time; making certain
clarifications; and generally relating to the records kept by a public body.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
