In item (2) of this section, the reference to "contact" is substituted for the
former reference to "intercourse" for clarity. Correspondingly, the archaic
reference to "communications" is deleted.

In item (3) of this section, the reference to "other" actions is added for
clarity.

The Review Committee notes, for consideration of the General Assembly,
that this provision of law was enacted in 1793 and may need to be updated
to include modes of transport other than vessels.

SUBTITLE 11. COMMUNITY SERVICES TRUST FUND.
24-1101. DEFINITIONS.

(A)     IN GENERAL.

IN THIS SUBTITLE THE FOLLOWING WORDS HAVE THE MEANINGS INDICATED.

(B)     TRUST FUND.

"TRUST FUND" MEANS THE COMMUNITY SERVICES TRUST FUND.

(C)     PROCEEDS.

"PROCEEDS" MEANS THE GROSS PROCEEDS MINUS THE COSTS ASSOCIATED
WITH THE SALE, LEASE, OR DISPOSITION OF PROPERTY AND EQUIPMENT, AS
DETERMINED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL SERVICES.
